Lucid dreams rule. I have them occasionally. I can't tell you what usually goes on in my lucid dreams in a family oriented forum, but I can tell you my most favorite lucid dream story, which I've probably already told but will tell again anyway because I love it so much. It's probably not the best lucid dream I've ever had, but it's one of the best I can remember.

I dreamed I was playing in a football game. I was the quarterback. I was also pretty much every other player on the field as I recall, in that "you know it couldn't be true but it is and you accept it" dream sort of way. We were down to a few seconds left on the clock. We were down by a touchdown. We were on the 5 yard line, driving for the winning score. I took the snap from myself on the last play and started running towards victory. I got blasted on like the two yard line and we lost the game. Very disheartening.

So then, as dreams often do, things sort of changed for no particular reason and I dreamed several other marginally interelated dreams of which I now have no recall.

Then, pretty much without warning, there I was again. Down by a touchdown. Just a few seconds left on the clock, ball on the opponents five yard line. I looked around, said "Screw it, I know this is a dream now, I'm WINNING this time!" I took the snap from myself, and this time faded back to pass. I lobbed the ball into the corner of the endzone, where I caught it for the winning score just as time expired. Then I immedietly woke up and said "Yeah! Passing was a MUCH better idea!"
