Canadian bacon! Canadian bacon??? It isn't bacon! It isn't bacon!
It's ham! Ham! H-A-M, HAM! Read my lips as though you could see them. It's ham. It tastes exactly the same as ham.
Here I am, a Canadian, and I haven't once heard anyone refer to it as Canadian bacon except in the occasional flyer for an American chain of pizza restaurants. (We get a lot of those, somehow.)
It's ham!
