> Christmas Day, 2000: Today was probably the most low-key Christmas Day I have ever had in my entire life. At home, my family usually gets up fairly early to open gifts around the tree, and then as soon as we finish, mom starts cooking. The extended family generally starts to show up around 2:00, and and we have Christmas dinner at 4:00. Afterwards, we open more gifts, play games, and chat until around 8:00, when everyone usually decides they're ready to eat pie and then go home.

> This year, it was just me, my wife, my baby son, and Nana. (Nana is what my m-i-l wants her grandchildren to call her.) We didn't open any presents or play any games. I spent a couple hours on RinkChat while I was downloading various things for Nana's computer, and then spent a couple hours more scanning in pictures and formatting them. We did have a Christmas dinner consisting of Honey-Baked Ham (yum!) and sweet patooties, along with a salad containing uncooked broccoli which I did not eat. Afterwards, we watched the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott as Ebeneezer Scrooge.

> The Day After Christmas was our celebratory day. We got up early to prepare. My wife's two brothers came over with their families, and we had a large brunch with them. Then we opened presents. Jonathan got teddy bears in two different sizes, one of which holds a hot water bottle (???). He also got a new book that he can eat. Mrs. Grishny and I were quite pleased as the gifts we purchased for our neice and nephews were all hits. I snapped lotsa pictures, many of which will no doubt make it into the next installment of baby pics.

> The rest of the afternoon up till now, I have been putting together Page 12 of Jonathan's photo album on-line. (See the link below!) Note that the pictures we took with SamandLeen are included! We also added one new picture to Page 11, if you want to click on "Previous Page" to see it. It's a picture of da baby in his cute new oversized fuzzy hat.

I read it and even followed the link. You really should take some pictures of that kid sometime.
