So this is Christmas...

Today it's Christmas at my house. Since my parents are divorced, you kinda have to learn to go with the flow. Today it's Christmas at the house I regularly live in (a.k.a. my mom's).

I guess I'm more of a child then I thought I was. It's 7:37 right now. We had all planned to sleep in until 9, and then get on with the day. But, I couldn't sleep. I have to admit, I am excited about it all. The tables have turned in a sense now. I'm much more excited about giving gifts than I am about getting them. I didn't ask for much this year. All I really want is some money so I can build myself a new computer in the new year.

I can't wait for my mom to open her presents. She doesn't know it yet, but I'm getting her more than she's getting me. More presents anyway. She said she got me either 5 or 6 presents. I got her 9. :) I just love to see her get things. She deserves 100 or more gifts.. but alas my salary won't cover that.

I like the gift giving that me and my siblings do each year too. We don't spend much. (I'm the only one of the 5 who has a full-time job.) But it's always fun to see what I get. Plus they are fun to shop for. We never tell each other what we want, we just go buy something that we see that jumps out at us. It's not always easy, but usually turns out to be a lot of fun at Christmas.

I wish Mom and Melissa would get up. Hehe. Monday will be worse. Three siblings live there (at my dad's), and my youngest sister (Sarah, age 12) is crazy. I have to be the one who shares a room there with her, and she'll get up at 5 a.m. and pounce on my bed. Then I'll ever-so-nicely throw her across the room. :) She has the worst time understanding that I hate getting up and waiting, much like today, and I'd rather just sleep until everyone else is up. Oh well, it's inevitably going to happen again this year.

Well, I guess that's it. I'll go check the chat room again and see if anyone's there to keep me company. If not, I'll go watch a movie or something. Later!
