The question is, why would anyone *want* to be an op at all? With ophood comes great responsibility. Sure, you have all these neat little powers (woo, I can make red text!), but as many current ops might be apt to tell you, being an op can be a pain sometimes because it's YOUR responsibility (at least when an admin isn't around) to moderate the chat room. If someone breaks a rule, or becomes obstinate and harassing, YOU are the one who has to deal with it.

Of course, all that *really* only applies to the perm-ops. Temp-ops are a different animal entirely!
