On the rare occasions it snows here, the snow looks quite nice falling down to earth, but it either melts before it hits the ground, or it turns to disgusting and muddy slush five minutes after it falls. Unless, of course, you go into the mountains to go innertubing, which I intend to do this Christmas break. I just hope I don't go sliding underneath a fir tree like I did a few years ago...I got stuck and had to feebly cry for help until my dad came to save me.

*lol* Oh, yes, that IS what I meant! Don't tell me you've never gone innertubing down a raging river in the middle of the winter? *in shock* Why, it's the only way to 'tube! I always wear thirty layers of clothing and jump into an icy river. Sure, you might turn a unique shade of blue and maybe you'll crack a couple teeth due to shivering, but it is all worth it when you emerge from the icy depths still intact. And sometimes, if you're lucky, you find some frozen fish sticks in your parka hood.
