I don't even know what DC's motto is.... our old license plates have "A Capital city" on them... and the even older ones had "Celebrate and Discover". However, on Saturday the new DC license plates came out - and the only reason they exist is because our mayor used some special something-or-other to bipass congress. What do the new plates read? "Taxation Without Representation". My Daddy's going to get the plates for all three of our cars, and for the third (mine!) he's going to get plates that read "THE KID"... now, unless you were in chat when this was being discussed the other day... why would our plates read THE KID?
