album I'm blown away by is Joe Satriani's Engines
of Creation. He combined electronica with the rock
guitar, and the results (in my opinion) are
amazing. I never really listened to instrumental
albums until recently, and it's almost surreal how
much emotion you can get out of the music...it's
like you can interpret it anyway you want to.
Also, depending on your mood, you could interpret
the same song many different ways...I'm getting
carried away now. You know what I mean. LOL. 8-)

I haven't heard that album yet, but have you heard
"Flying in a Blue Dream"? Most of the album is
instrumental save for about 4 songs in which he
sings (the first album to feature him doing so).
Overall, a realy great listen. What's nice is the
variety of song styles that he uses keeps it very
entertaining. My favorite song title on this
album: Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing.

Tra "Satriani... hmmm...I wonder if he's Italian"
