That old bus had it's good points. I drove it to Cape Cod, the Outer Banks, and Key West. It had high ground clearance and good traction. In the pre-child seat days, all four kids had room to stretch out and take a nap. It got 25 mpg, and as it was the fore-father of the mini-van, you could see over the surrounding traffic. But it was too heavy for a 50 hp engine, and rust was it's middle name.
