Ugh. At my old job, they blocked certain web sites, too, and the message was just as offensive. There's no "may" or "might" involved, it simply states incorrectly that the web site "is" inappropriate. I always found that reprehensibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Something at least as bad, employees' web usage was tracked and tallied, and monthly reports of web usage -- per hit and per kilobyte -- were available to anyone who wanted to see them. Fortunately my manager didn't give a crud about that stuff. Then we got a new CEO, one with an actual brain, and removing the filter and usage monitor was one of the first things he did when he got the job. We all loved him after that.

At this new job, they don't do any of that either. Frankly, I'm highly doubtful I could work for a company with that little respect or trust for its employees ever again.
