In our economics class, we were told about an advertising company that wanted to launch space billboards--they would orbit the earth at a distance to appear about the same size as the moon, and be visible to nearly everyone on earth. I don't know what happened to the plan, but I'm very glad it hasn't gone through. What a night sky that would be.
