Well, I finally finished The Stand: Complete and Uncut. I can honestly say that the only thing more disturbing I have ever experienced was when I first saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Despite the high freakiness quotient, it was probably the best book I've ever read. My only complaint is that it was too long...but I still enjoyed almost every page.
As a final note, does anyone happen to know what other Stephen King books tie in with the whole The Stand-Dark Tower-Insomnia storyline? I'd like to read those without having to check out every book he's ever written from the library.
