That's the way both of my lower wisdom teeth were yanked. (The top ones are still there and pretty much behaving.) Almost no pain at all. Leen, on the other hand, got them out the same way and had a terrible time. I guess a lot depends on what the roots look like. Leen's were splayed out, so it required a lot more cutting and digging to get them out.
