We made a little trip down into Middle Tennessee the last three days. We took a short cut from Smithville to Woodbury and found that we had never gone that way before. Beautiful countryside.
We hit a few yard sales in and around Murfreesboro. I bought some small antiques including a 48-star American flag. They quit making those in 1959 when Alaska became a state. They only made the 49-star flags for a few months and then Hawaii became a state and they had to come up with a 50-star design. Guess which one is a rare collector's item.
