One of the best cartoons on television is "Rocko's Modern Life". I one episode, the character Filburt (a nervous, neurotic turtle) keeps getting fortunes in his fortune cookies that all say the same thing: BAD LUCK AND INCREDIBLE MISFORTUNE WILL INFEST YOUR PATHETIC SOUL FOR ALL ETERNITY. Other than the "all eternity" bit, it comes true. I loved that episode.
