And so I have. Link below. When I was copyediting the school lit magazine, I had this posted on my bulletin board along with a banner - "We are copy. Resistance is useless. You shall be edited." - my spelling bee placard, and a select assortment of Far Side comics.
(Side note: I am not the copyed this year. Never again, I swore, would I take the thankless job of explaining to the authors of the selected works that not only is there really no such word as "alot," punctuation is a *good* thing, and "creative spelling" is no substitute for originality. Not only that, no one bothered to check their work after typing in the edited pieces... ::mutter, grumble::)
