Ever since I took Freshman Honors Biology in high school and learned how genes work and what causes male-pattern baldness, I have been resigned to the fact that I would be bald, since my grandfather on my mother's side was.

But I figured it would have started to happen by now. Instead, my hair seems to be thinning, rather than receding, like my father's. So maybe there is hope for me after all.
