Okay, in the north it's "soda." In the south its "soft drink." But you can call them "pop," "dope," or even "doke," depending on where you are. In some area's "coke" means any soft drink. I can't remember where I was, but I think it was the Carolinas, when I asked for a coke they asked, "What kind?" (diagram that sentence!)
Are there other regional names?
