I'm glad you mentioned Wales. My wife and I took a side trip from London on one of those 125 trains to Cardif, Wales and stayed one night and most of two days. That's pretty far south. I've been planning to see northern Wales ever since. We saw a castle and a manor house in Cardiff and people kept telling us about the castles up north. We still haven't seen Scotland, so another trip to the UK is a must.
