The "Hercules" and "Xena" TV shows may be filmed in New Zeland, but Raimi is American (I think) and you could use them because they are an American reinteripritation of classic myths. And while I'm talking about Raimi there is the "Army of Darkness". The freaky cartoon movie "Wizards" is fantasy. "What Dreams May Come" was fantasy and very diffrent from most other fantasy stuff.
