Let's see, Dr. Forrester is even more evil than he was in the series, but he's not in the show any more. The skit scenes (usually about every 30 minutes in the show) still exist, they're all pretty good. The humor is slightly better than the average television episode. Mike and the bots even stick around for the MST3K credits after the This Island Earth credits.

Because of Dr. F's attitude in the movie (evil scientist instead of mad scientist), the tone of the non-This Island Earth segments is a bit darker. If you can believe that.

Oh, and there's a lack of the MST3K Love Theme, so there's no "tell yourself it's just a show, you really should relax" line...
