I admit I am doing better at work. They are getting used to me. I used to be very, very quiet and never talked to anyone. Now they know, and they're getting used to my humor, but there are still quite a few people who give me that blank look, and that mortifies me-- probably because these people are often an exec., or my boss, and suddenly I may be fired because I've just joked about deleting the company website (for example) but they didn't GET it.

Some people are far too serious.

On the other hand, humor on-line is still a complete mystery to me, as I can't use the same facial expressions I'm just beginning to "get" when talking to a person face-to-face.

Incidently, when you mentioned "I Think" I recalled walking into a friends cubicle recently to find her faxing "I Think" along with some company document down to the receptionist at our other offices. It turns out that ever since I told her about RinkWorks, before Christmas, she has been faxing a section every time she faxes anything down there.

See...we sell toiletries (soaps and stuff) and so the "I Think" ending in "The upshot of all this is that the nation's declining literacy rate can be blamed entirely on moisturizing cream." was especially appropriate.
