I'm having the worst time getting online since New Year's. I connect through Freei.net, then browse with Internet Explorer. Since New Year's however, upon opening IE, it begins to load, then gives me one of those darn "This program had performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" messages. When I click for "Details" it just gives me a bunch of incomprehensible (to me, at least) computer mumbo jumbo.
By coincidence, I had just received an AOL CD in the mail, so I decided to delete IE, log on AOL, and then download a new version. Unfortuately, once downloaded, there wassome problem with the installation file, and *that* wouldn't work.
I went to www.netscape.com as perscribed by last night's Rinkchatters, but I couldn't get it to download. Maybe AOL can't dowload certain files or something? I have absolutely no clue.

Help me, please! Do I need a new computer??
