> We had some dry weather, so when I used the leaf blower, I stirred up some dust. There was a thin layer on the car, but I didn't have time to wash it off before we went to Nashville. On the way down, a trailer truck in front of us blew a fuel line and sprayed us with diesel fuel. I had enough solvent in the windshield washer to clean the windshield so I just kept going. Then we hit construction. White limestone dust was everywhere and it stuck to the diesel fuel, then we hit a stretch of fresh tar. In Nashville I parked under a willow tree that was still shedding a few leaves and they got into the air intake below the windshield and some stuck for a while in the goo on the trunk lid. On the way home we hit a brief shower which left thin streaks in the grime and splashed road film on the sides of the car. Right before we got back to our street a flock of starlings took off from a field and flew over the road just as we passed. They bombed us good. The windshield took several heavy hits. As soon as I parked on the carport, the neighbor's dog came over and marked our tires. Thank goodness we don't have bugs this time of year.

Wow, it sounds official... the apocalypse is upon us as many have forecasted. Those definitely sound like the plagues outlined in Revelations.
Those of us who are still in 1999, repent now while there's still time!!!
