The language of the Cu is a fairly simple letter-by-letter cipher from English. The main thing to remember is that each consonant changes to the next consonant, and each vowel changes to the next vowel.
There are three sections to the planet Cu. The main difference is how they think of the letter 'y'. The northern third is called Wuxim, the southern third is called Duptupepv, and the middle third is called Tunivonit.
In Wuxim, they always think of 'y' as a vowel, so 'u' = 'y'; 'x' = 'z'; 'y' = 'a'.
In Duptupepv, they always think of 'y' as a consonant, so 'u' = 'a', 'x' = 'y', 'y' = 'z'.
In Tunivonit, they always defer when talking to one of the other two groups. When talking to anybody other than from the Wuximt or the Duptupepvt, the take the 'y' in its context. If it is used as a vowel, it changes to 'a'. If as a consonant, it changes to 'z'. 'u' then becomes 'y', and 'x' becomes the Hebrew letter 'chet' which sounds like the German 'ch' and looks like a table.
Thus, the standard Cuoep greeting is "Jimmuuuuu".
