> Last night in Georgia, I checked the weather forcasts. Clear, cold, dry. From Atlanta to the Ohio Valley, it was the same. I left for home at 6:22 this morning. Ran into snow just south of Sweetwater, TN. By the time I got home, about 25 minutes later, it was on cars, grass and even a few spots on the road. Meteorology is not yet an exact science. Now they are saying, cold but no snow for Christmas. I wonder. Snow is a big deal down here in Dixie.

Huh. Well, I'm up in northern Massachusetts right now, and there's not a trace of snow anywhere. From what I'm told, there hasn't been, either. From my usual residence in upstate New York, we saw a little bit of snow once. It's just a really mild winter, I guess.

How disappointing.
