I think you've accomplished a whole lot in the past two years - for one, you've gone from being a little tiny bit on the UNH servers to the 2996th most popular web site in the world. That's nothing small, right there. And in addition to that, look at all the humour and enjoyment this site has brought ito the lives of so many people, and how you've accomplished something no one else, to my knowledge, ever has - you've created a real community of real people on the internet. I consider you people to be my friends, as I think I've said before, and that's really wonderful. It's not like going to chat rooms or message boards elsewhere, not knowing who's going to show up, not knowing who any of them are anyway, and not really wanting to say much to these weird people. The weird people around here are constant, and have actual personalities and can be expected. I can come here with anything, some silliness or a serious problem or whatever suchlike funstuff, and find the same group of people to talk to and to share with, who really care. I think that creating the environment that allows that (and contributing to it in no small measure) is an accomplishment great enough to warrant my deepest thanks. > > Dar "All misty-eyed" ien
Well, third time's the charm, which is what people say when they were too slow to be first or second. No matter: Happy anniversary to RinkWorks from little old me as well. This site alone is worth the cost of monthly Internet access. Yay, huzzah, whiz, bang, pow and many other enthusiastic onomatopoeias!
Iss "okay, so 'yay' and 'huzzah' aren't onomato-whatevers. I knew that." achar
