Okay.. just a few comments.

> You get a bunch of characters together of different professions; each character has a bunch of stats and can wear and carry all kinds of different weapons, armor, and objects.

Okay. One thing I like in these sort of games is multiple races; The human/dwarf/elf/halfelf sort of thing. I also like critter races.. werewolves, catpeople, centaurs, and such- but that's more just me.

For weapons and armor, one thing that drives me up the *wall* is the 'mages don't do armor' sort of thing. What'd be nice is a diminishing feedback sort of thing- heavy armor could slow a mage down to the point where spells become slow and difficult to cast, so a mage would wear lighter armor, or just robes for maximum effect.

Same thing goes for clerics. They could have a natural aptitude for blunt weapons, but if one of 'em finds God's Grandfather's Sword, he ought to be able to swing it at the baddies.
