That's a pretty fair question. I guess I'm thinking of orthodoxy basically as adherence to the Apostles' Creed, and the doctrinal summaries of the Church Councils of Nicea and Chalcedon. I realize that Eastern Orthodox churches still have a bone to pick with the wording of those councils (the infamous battle over "filioque"), but I'd include them anyway.
