Well, for those of you who care, I'm about 200 pages into 'Eye of the World,' and I'm still waiting for something interesting to happen. Oh sure, it hasn't been all dullness and drudgery, but in the same space many complete novels occupy, Jordan has managed to say only one thing of significance: "Something strange is going on."

Yay. This better pick up really quickly.
