Hey, cigerettes don't always cause you to die a horrible, painful death. A friend of mine smoked three packs a day. Then one day he laid down a cigarette and had a massive heart attack. He never knew what hit him. He was 28. Same thing happened to my eye doctor. He quit smoking the same way, but he was older. 32. And some people will tell you that cigarettes only kill people who are over the hill. I guess I'm a little anti-tobacco. Of all the members of my family who have died in the last 50 years or so, cigaretts got more than half of them, including my parents.
