Don't need one. Remember how you obtained that fish you're currently carrying?

It's either at the bridge itself or at the river downstream (I think it's at the bridge) where you have an option to do something seemingly wasteful with the fruits. Try it, and see what happens when you try to retrieve some more fish downstream.
