I'm surprised to hear that. If you can get into the station, there's a pretty big station to explore, with two different levels and six lifts that you can raise up or down to make new things accessible. Heck, the map provided is incredibly useful. This puzzle isn't simple, but it's one of the more intuitive and fun puzzles in the game.

Post your inventory? Maybe I'm misreading and we're talking about different places...
