Having studied the upcoming release schedule (that's part of what happens when you work at a movie theatre: you spend a lot of time looking at the movie schedule). So, I have a few comments:

Astro Boy - Not in 3D.

Where the Wild Things Are - I mean, I can understand why people are excited for this movie. But it hasn't quite hit me yet. I think it's been a long time since I read the book, and the trailer only looks alright. I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I do get to sit down and watch it.

This Is It - I'm curious to see how this turns out. They're really hyping this movie up (tickets go on sale a month early). I don't know how it will end up, but should be interesting.

A Chrismas Carol - Hey look, it's our triennial (seemingly) version of A Christmas Carol. Except this one has Jim Carrey. And it's in 3D.

2012 - This movie is a few years too early or a few years too late. I'm pretty sure all of those 'end of the world' flicks were all the rage 10 years ago.

Ninja Assassin - I have quite a few friends that are looking forward to this (and Ong Bak 2). Just, you know, saying there are people out there, and I know of them.

Avatar - I can't get excited for this at all. Even after watching the preview a half dozen times, it just looks 'meh' to me. I don't know if even the appeal of 3D will make me want to watch it.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel - Heh. Squeakquel. That's a good one.
