Story Hunt 4:8 HELP!

I'm stuck on this clue:

Take a gander at this fun site;
Laugh and holler into the night.
Beware the Achilles two three eight and seven;
Make haste to painter four six seven eleven.

I know what the numbers mean, and it lines up with what "Achilles" and "painter" imply... but any combination of those two words doesn't get me ANYwhere. What am I doing wrong??
