Wow. I assume that we're talking about the same column. In my case, it was published in the local paper about a month after the film opened, but I hadn't seen it yet, so that column *was* the first I heard about the death of the guy who died (no spoilers here, nuh-uh). I wasn't too worried about it though; with the level of hype for that movie, I think that even eels living at the bottoms of ponds in outer Mongolia would have known the entire plot six months in advance.
