It's very important to realize how things work in Lynville. I think you have already figured out how time can change.... Talk to the the woman that runs the boarding house. Exhaust all conversation. She tells you dinner is in the evening at a certain time. This part is tricky.
Make sure you go to bed when is is dark!!! Get up leave the boarding house and move around the town. It takes five moves after you exit the boarding house. That includes entering an establishment and exiting...enter the boarding house and Go N through the hallway and sit down. You will have to work this to find the right person who is interested in something you have in your inventory. Good Luck...
