There's plenty you can do. Try revisiting EVERYWHERE on campus, talking to everyone you see; if you're thorough, you should find an obvious use for at least one item, possibly two depending on how your thought processes work. HINT: conversations often have several options, depending on what you've done, in addition to a "default" option that must be pressed several times to cycle through all options. These conversations often give hints for your quests.
