ToA & PoA - a question

Hi all. This is not a hint request, but I couldn't think of a better place to post it. I just noticed a cool detail in these games. At the dinner in ToA we learn that Chris's last name is Johnson. Are we to assume he's related to Kevin Johnson from PoA? Is there any more information somewhere in the game I might have missed which would verify this idea?
