Has any one read Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross's mini series from the early 90's called Marvels? I just read the Trade Paper back and was blown away. I was already a fan of both creators (Kurt from Avengers, Tunderbolts, and Avengers: Forever and Alex from Earth X) but the humanity of this series was increadable. From the Birth of the Human Torch to the Death of Gwen Stacy they actually placed you in the Marvel Universe, and not from the hero or the villians veiw point, not as a freind of a hero, and not as the all seeing Watcher but as a regular man, a completly normal person. Even if you don't read comics you should read this, I bought mine at Barnes & Nobles so you should beable to find one too.
