I debated for a long time whether to say I could thrash around and die or to say a mere 10 feet. I decided to be less morbid than everyone else and went with the 10 feet option.

My family has never been big on swimming. None of us kids had formal swimming lessons, and as a result none of us are real confident in the water. Especially me, who at a tender young age fell off from riding piggy-back with Dad in the pool and was dropped into water waaaaaaaay over my head.

Not exactly scarring for life, but it was traumatizing, nonetheless. I will no longer ride piggyback in the pool, no sir.

And here I must give into the temptation.
