> Uh? Er well Brunnen-G, you might want to consider the precise way in which that DC person phrased the "NZ-as-part-of-Canada" comment (in a very Canadian fashion!) I mean, if the similarities between NZ and Canadian accents are as strong as you've indicated to me -- the rising inflection at the end of sentences, and the "eh?" part -- plus add to the fact that there ARE a bunch of little islands just off the SE corner of Canada, including Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia -- why then I'm not entirely certain "NZ-as-part-of-Canada" wasn't actually an astute, deadpan joke!

It took me ages to work it out, but in the end I figured he must be thinking of Newfoundland, and he didn't know where *that* was either. I mean, hey, it begins and ends the same way, so it must be the same country, right? Hehehe.

Anyone who wants to come to NZ just let me know. It'd be cool to meet RinkWorks people in real life. Just so long as you don't all arrive at once, because I only have spare room for one person, or six people if five of them don't mind living on a boat.
