Battery Junkies

My food
My music, soul
My light
My warmth
My life
Our existence
All inside a tiny box.

Go through the doors
Eight little universes
Time stops
The sun goes out
And everyone is deaf
When the red eye goes to sleep.

Blood type double A
They keep going till we stop
Lazarus was rechargeable
And I am not.

We are the battery junkies
Desperate for a fix
In need of just a little bit more
To play the games
Light the way
And change the channel.
