This low-budget sea epic has Jeff Chandler as the captain of a ship of the U.S. Navy ordered to masquerade as a pirate ship to gather information on a band of real pirates marauding the waterways. The film is fun, with some intriguing plot developments, but is a little talky and ends too quickly.
