Two single parents meet while sending their respective kids to summer camp. They fall in love, then head off to see the kids for a weekend. Naturally, they don't approve at first, and their budding relationship is complicated by another woman and another man. The two stars (leads Van Heflin and Patricia Neal) have charisma, which keeps the formulaic story amusing, but strangely it's the performances of the four kids that evoke the most laughs.
