The Man In the Brown Suit was one of the best of Agatha Christie's many novels. What a shame, then, that it's only film incarnation to date is this made-for-TV feature with better than average TV production values (but TV production values nevertheless).
Yet, for a TV movie, this is pretty good. In fact, this is one of the best of the Christie TV movies. A compelling murder mystery, a diamond theft, exotic locales, and a quiet air of sophistication are just some of the things that keep this film moving.
