Alfred Hitchcock's best film from his early period. Hitch graced every aspect of this production with his artistic touch. Of particular note is the effective soundtrack, where, for one of the first times, Hitchcock used with dead silence to heighten suspense. The performances are all excellent, and the final product shines.
