Short Kilts is one of the better Stan Laurel solo shorts. The plot is the simple matter of a feud between families, and that's just an excuse to set-up a series of slapstick sketches. Most of the material is amusing, if not outright funny, and the simplicity of the humor has an air of nostalgia to it.
