Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn are at their best in Neil Simon's Seems Like Old Times, a comedy that lives up to (but doesn't surpass) the high expectations one has for a Neil Simon comedy. It's light and breezy, yet builds and sustains a delightful comic energy and also has its moments of wry wit. In fact, Seems Like Old Times is something of a welcome relief for fans of the two stars -- they have undeniable talent but frequently find themselves buried in poor productions. Check out this one if you've never seen what they can do with good material.
