This is one of the better Roy Rogers B-westerns, though it is no more than it purports to be: a lightweight story of goodguys and badguys shooting at each other on horseback, a romance with a society girl, and a couple of songs by the Sons of the Pioneers bookending the action. Most of these clocked in at less than an hour, and this one is even shorter than most. Matinee flicks like this are quickly forgettable but have a nice nostalgic appeal.
